Ok, what about the Doctrine of Grace? It's the glue that holds the whole bible together and without it the whole plan of God falls apart. The problem most Christians make when dealing with God’s grace is that they only start thinking of it when they read the New Testament. But in reality God Grace was at work before Genesis 1:1 and will still be at work after Revelation has ended. You see the world was created by grace, the law was given by grace and you were saved by grace. If one will study the bible and put church doctrine aside you will find that man has always been saved by grace. Read II Peter 3:9 and then Genesis 1:1 it’s the same God in both verses; but you might say that they were in difference dispensations? What? You can’t say that man was under the law in Genesis 1:1 because the law was not yet given. Please remember that the law was a schoolmaster to bring us to grace (Galatians 3 & Romans 9-12). Most of us have heard someone say that Grace is “God’s unmerited Love toward Man” and this is a true statement but try and take God’s Grace a few steps further and think about God working with mankind before Jesus was ever born and the Cross yet erected. You see God is Grace, he is complete Grace even in judgment He is Grace (Romans 9). God cannot be God with Grace and it was always by the Grace of God that God dealt with Mankind. If one could take Grace away from God then they would take away God. Try and see if what I say is true, start at Genesis 1:1 and read the entire Bible and let me know which verse does not show Gods grace. | |
